Greening Greater Memphis

Memphis, TN – Memphis is known for its parks, the Mississippi River and its hardwood trees. A group of envirnomental and recreational organizations have come together to help turn Memphis into a "great" city by connecting parks to potential greenways throughout the city.
Alex Garvin, Yale Professor of Urban Planning and Management is the keynote speaker at the Greening Greater Memphis event on Thursday, February 8, 2007 at the Memphis Botanic Gardens.
