Come every October, Pumpkin spice mania begins.
What originated as a coffee craze, has spread to hundreds of products being made with this beloved spice blend. All you have to do is walk down the aisles at a grocery store and you see everything from pumpkin spice pancake mix to pumpkin spice dish soap!
In honor of Halloween, I wanted to share with you a few of the yummy Fall-flavored treats I found in restaurants, bakeries and stores across Memphis
Muddy’s Bake Shop wins the award for the most fun use of pumpkin pie spice – a whoopie pie! To make this autumn-inspired sweet treat, the bakers at Muddy’s sandwich a cinnamon brown sugar buttercream between two soft pumpkin-spiced cookies.
I found some pretty awesome Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins at Café Eclectic. This fall, Café Eclectic’s seasonal muffin is a pumpkin muffin studded with loads of chocolate chips. The bakers add a dollop of cream cheese before baking the muffins to top it all off.
Shotwell Candy Co. added Pumpkin Spice to their fall line-up of chewy caramels. This limited-edition flavor will be made only until November 1.
This fall, I Love Juice Bar debuted a new Fall product line they dubbed “Save the Pumpkins. Drink A Smoothie or Juice.” Available for a limited time, their Autumn Spice Smoothie delivers all the fall flavors you love in a creamy and healthy smoothie.
And you can’t forget your four-legged friend! Hollywood Feed Fresh Bakery makes Pumpkin-Cranberry Dog Treats that are tasty and healthy for your pup. Their puppy customers love pumpkin so much that the bakery also makes pumpkin vanilla cupcakes, pumpkin doughnuts and pumpkin cream cheese bars.
