"Modern Dialect" opens at the Dixon Gallery and Gardens

The new exhibition at the Dixon Gallery and Gardens is "Modern Dialect:  American Paintings from the John and Susan Horseman Collection."  This is a natural extension of the very successful 2009 exhibition "Regional Dialect," which was also taken from the Horseman collection.  Dixon Director Kevin Sharpe talked with Darel Snodgrass about this important new show of American art.

I began piano lessons at age 6, trumpet at age 9, and began teaching myself the guitar at 10. My electronics knowledge comes from my father, who had the RCA television and stereo shop in my hometown of Pocahontas, Arkansas for nearly 20 years. My dad is still fixing televisions at age 79.
