Elizabeth Black was a Pittsburgh portrait artist. Until World War II took her -- and her easel -- to the front lines.
Years later, her son, John Black of Germantown, Tenn., discovered a footlocker with some of the drawings she had made. Now, WQED-TV of Pittsburgh has been working on a documentary to reunite Black's portraits from the front with the families of the soldiers.
