Esmeralda Martinez, an elementary school teacher at Catholic Jubilee Schools, is the focus of our third installment in the "Stories of Champions" series.

Catholic Jubilee Schools have been called the "Miracle in Memphis" because it offers a rigorous education in an urban setting. Martinez, a Mexican immigrant, comes from a long history of teachers famous in her hometown. She teaches -- and preaches -- the importance of diversity in her classroom.
