The slow-motion death of George Floyd, by a Minneapolis police officer kneeling upon his neck in full view of the public, has revived the national conversation about police brutality and Black Lives Matter. On Wednesday night, a protesthere in Memphis left politicians discussing whether too much police force was shown, or whether talk about social distancing was tone deaf.

This week, political analyst Otis Sanford says Floyd's death, in full view of citizens who were prevented from intervening, warrants soul searching from white Americans.
