The 111th Tennessee General Assembly adjourned last Friday, saving a vote on a controversial abortion ban for the midnight hour. And while Gov. Bill Lee finally got the law he'd been asking for, which will be challenged in the courts, he was disappointed that lawmakers left Nashville without passing legislation that would prevent lawsuits over COVID.
