In our digitally driven world, it is easy to become consumed by personal responsibilities, work demands, and the mundane distractions of life.

But despite these challenges, staying connected to the people who matter most, family, friends, those you love is essential for emotional well-being, personal growth, and overall happiness. Human beings are inherently social creatures. We need each other in more than superficial ways, more than emojis and TikTok can provide. Face-to-face encounters, offering up something about yourself to strengthen those relationships will help you grow stronger and more fulfilled. If you don't do this, you will grow apart and distant and wonder what happened? So I encourage you, make a list of who those people are in your life and use the phone to call them, not text. Write a letter. You do remember how to do that, don't you? Drive to their house and knock on the door and say, "I just came by to say hello." You won't regret doing it. This is Dr. Scott Morris for Church Health.
