The cook at the diner who flips eggs before sunrise, the custodian who sweeps the floor long after everyone's gone home, the bus driver who knows the names of every child she carries to school, the medical assistant who listens longer than her schedule allows. Their work rarely makes headlines, yet it holds the world together. Each task done with care, done with love becomes a prayer in motion. It's easy to overlook these everyday acts, but they are where grace most often hides. At Church Health, I see it every day, hands that heal, hands that serve, hands that remind us that purpose doesn't come from power or fame, but from showing up, doing what needs to be done, and doing it with heart. When we honor the grace of ordinary work, we remember that no calling is too small, no effort too humble to reflect the light of God. So today, notice the people who keep life running quietly around you, thank them, bless them for through their faithful work grace is alive and well in Memphis. This is Dr. Scott Morris for Church Health.
