He writes, "The place God calls you is where your deep gladness and the world's deep hunger meet." A lot of people spend much of their life asking, "What am I meant to do?"
We often look for big answers, titles, achievements, or a single defining moment, but I think calling is simpler and closer than we think. Start with what brings you deep gladness, not just happiness, that's fleeting, but something that feels rooted and lasting. Then look at the world around you. Where is their real need? Real hunger.
Your vocation isn't about choosing between what you love and what the world requires. It's about discovering where those two already meet. That intersection, your joy and the world's need isn't accidental. It's a place of meaning and your place of purpose. It's where life matters most.
