Nashville, TN – Last week, Senate Republicans made good on their promise to come up with an alternative to Governor Phil Bredesen's state budget. Bredesen proposed a mix of tax increases and budget cuts, including a luxury tax on items costing $3,000 or more. State House Correspondent Joe White tells WPLN's Jacqueline Fellows what the Republicans propose.
