Nashville, TN – Last week, Tennessee's new House Speaker cut the number of legislative subcommittees in half, limiting each standing committee to one subcommittee. It was Republican Beth Harwell's first bold move as leader of that chamber. WPLN's state capitol correspondent Joe White tells WPLN's Jacqueline Fellows in Nashville how this change may affect upcoming legislation.
