Memphis, TN – Early voting on the question of whether or not Memphis City Schools should be handed over to Shelby County Schools will be put to Memphis voters starting February 16th. But at least one Memphis City Schools board member is still trying to work out a compromise with the county schools. Senior Reporter for the Memphis Daily News Bill Dries told Eleanor Boudreau Jeffery Warren's proposal would set up one school system for all of Shelby County with several smaller districts inside it.
