Memphis, TN – At WREG Channel 3 last night a debate over school consolidation featured three-member teams. For merger were Memphis City Schools board member Martavius Jones, city councilman Shea Flinn, and state Rep. G.A. Hardaway. Opposed were Rev. LaSimba Gray, Germantown Mayor Sharon Goldsworthy, and Shelby County Schools board chairman David Pickler. Eleanor Boudreau reports introductions were orderly, but the rest of the evening wasn't always.
