Memphis, TN – An eventful day in the Memphis and Shelby County schools fracas. The day started with Nashville passing a law that dictates how a merger can take place. Memphis Mayor AC Wharton reacted angrily to that law.
"When people in Memphis do things that the gods in Nashville don't like, they change the rules," Wharton said.
The day ended with the Memphis City Council acting, too. Eleanor Boudreau and Senior Reporter for the Memphis Daily News Bill Dries talked through the day's events.
