Nashville, TN – A bill that would end collective bargaining for Wisconsin's state, county and local workers triggered massive teacher protests, the closing of some schools, a Democratic walkout in the state legislature, and a statewide manhunt for those fled Democrats last week. In Tennessee--a not dissimilar bill--singling out the teachers' union, passed the Senate Education Committee. State Capitol Correspondent Joe White told WPLN's Jacqueline Fellows the Tennessee Education Association (TEA) is upset.
