Memphis, TN – Former state Senator John Ford is behind bars, and he was slated to stay there until 2025, but his stay just got shortened. Some, but not all, of the charges against Ford have been overturned. So-called "Tennesee Waltz" convictions procured here in Memphis still stand, but convictions of TennCare Fraud procured in Nashville are out. Bill Dries of the Memphis Daily News told Eleanor Boudreau why those Nashville charges were thrown out.
