Nashville, TN – Noxious gases, chemical burns, and potential fireballs--perils police face anywhere dealers have cooked methamphetamine. Safely getting rid of a meth lab after a bust is expensive, and local police are having to foot the bill, because federal money for cleanup was cut this spring. The added cost is a major strain for states like Tennessee, which tallied more than two thousand meth labs last year. WPLN's Daniel Potter reports on how police are adapting.
