Romania Jones

I joined the WKNO staff in 1988, but I got my start at WBLE in my hometown of Batesville, MS. There, I announced and produced a weekly Gospel music program, and performed as a singer and pianist.

It wasn't until I attended Northwest Mississippi Community College that I discovered public radio.

Now, 43 years after I started my radio career, you can find me on-air on WKNO weeknights as the host of Classical Music and Saturday afternoons during the Opera.
