Kacky Walton talks with Richard Townley, Choirmaster and Assistant Organist at St. Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral, and mezzo-soprano Karen Showalter Cooper.

They will present Sourires d’eté, an afternoon of vocal art song, as part of the Music at St. Mary’s concert series.

This free musical event will take place on Sunday, July 28, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

I owe my radio career to the Ford Motor Company. My daddy had a Ford dealership in our hometown of Clarksdale, Mississippi, and he thought it would be cute if his 7-year old daughter did his radio commercials.
