Unfortunately, people living in many Memphis and Shelby County neighborhoods don't have access to the high-quality community resources we all want and deserve.
But more than 300 local organizations have joined together as the More for Memphis initiative to address this inequity by strengthening community infrastructure and improving social and economic mobility throughout the Memphis area.
Community members, nonprofits, businesses, and public organizations are working [side by side] to define the challenges of our social and economic systems; and to identify sustainable solutions. More For Memphis is centering the people directly affected by the issues to create solutions that make a shared vision for a thriving community a reality for us all.
