Watch: Overcoming Stigma | More Than my Mental Health Diagnosis

Close to one billion people have a mental health condition and anyone, anywhere, can be affected. In recent years, conversations about mental health have become more frequent. However, stigma associated with mental health conditions remains widespread. In this short video, Olga, Luke, Eddy, and Enoch talk about the stigma that they experienced following the diagnosis of conditions such as depression, anxiety and schizophrenia and explain how they are so much more than their mental health diagnosis.

This video was released to coincide with the launch of the global rollout of WHO’s “QualityRights” online training to address the stigma and discrimination associated with mental health conditions and to improve understanding and implementation of rights-based approaches in mental health services.
