MLGW is partnering with Nokia to build the first full-scale, stand-alone 5G network by a municipal utility in the U.S. The project is part of a broader effort to modernize Memphis’ electric grid and improve service reliability.

MLGW is asking customers to reduce electricity use today as high temperatures strain the TVA power grid. No outages are expected, but small changes can help prevent disruptions.
