Konstantin Heidrich will be the soloist for Dmitri Shostakovich's Cello Concerto No. 1, widely considered to be the most difficult cello solo ever written. Michael Tippit's edgy and dynamic Symphony No. 4 completes the program.

I owe my radio career to the Ford Motor Company. My daddy had a Ford dealership in our hometown of Clarksdale, Mississippi, and he thought it would be cute if his 7-year old daughter did his radio commercials.
