The Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE) has announced its 2025–26 Principal of the Year, Supervisor of the Year, and RISE Award finalists, who are shaping student success across the state.

Perea Elementary has received a $210,000 grant from TVA’s School Uplift program, recognizing its efforts to reduce energy waste and improve learning environments. The program, supported by MLGW and TVA, helps schools save on energy costs and reinvest in education.
