Opera Memphis' Handorf Company Artist Program provides career-building experiences to emerging singers and pianists through robust performance opportunities and personalized goals.

Opera Memphis begins its traditional "30 Days of Opera" series on Tuesday, September 1, with a strolling performance on Main Street from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

As Opera Memphis begins its new season, they also welcome a new Music Director, Conductor, and Pianist, Donald Lee III, who has appeared in concert with the Des Moines Metro Opera Orchestra, the Lyric Opera of Chicago Orchestra, and members of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

Playhouse on the Square has teamed up with Opera Memphis to co-produce its season 57 finale, "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street."

The 2026–2027 season marks the 75th season of the Memphis Symphony Orchestra (MSO), beginning with Tchaikovsky's 4th Symphony and Mason Bates' Cello Concerto on Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20, and concluding with the Grieg Piano Concerto and Dvořák's 7th Symphony on Sunday, May 22, and Sunday, May 23.

Opera Memphis has just announced its new season. The 2026–2027 season marks the company’s 70th year of presenting opera to the Mid-South.

The Memphis Symphony Orchestra, in partnership with Opera Memphis, presents Verdi’s "Requiem" with chorus and guest soloists, in a concert that will air live on WKNO-FM.

Opera superstar Jamie Barton is coming to Memphis for two exciting events: a concert on Saturday, March 21, at 7:00 p.m. at Harris Concert Hall featuring pianist Kathleen Kelly and Opera Memphis Handorf Company artists Tina O'Malley, Perri DiChristina, and Joel Clemens, followed on Saturday, March 28, with a performance of the huge Verdi Requiem with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra (MSO), soloists, and chorus.

Opera Memphis presents the world premiere of "Pretty Little Room" at Crosstown Theatre, Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7, at 7:30 p.m.
