Opera Memphis knows that American music is Memphis music. "I Hear Memphis Singing" invites music fans to enjoy tunes by some of the artists who prove it.

Opera Memphis has just announced its new season. The 2026–2027 season marks the company’s 70th year of presenting opera to the Mid-South.

The Memphis Symphony Orchestra, in partnership with Opera Memphis, presents Verdi’s "Requiem" with chorus and guest soloists, in a concert that will air live on WKNO-FM.

Opera superstar Jamie Barton is coming to Memphis for two exciting events: a concert on Saturday, March 21, at 7:00 p.m. at Harris Concert Hall featuring pianist Kathleen Kelly and Opera Memphis Handorf Company artists Tina O'Malley, Perri DiChristina, and Joel Clemens, followed on Saturday, March 28, with a performance of the huge Verdi Requiem with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra (MSO), soloists, and chorus.

Opera Memphis presents the world premiere of "Pretty Little Room" at Crosstown Theatre, Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7, at 7:30 p.m.

Opera Memphis presents one of the most beloved operas of all time, Gioachino Rossini’s "The Barber of Seville," on Friday, January 23, and Saturday, January 24.
