The new performance season at the Scheidt Family Performing Arts Center and the University of Memphis Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music begins with "Opening Night at the Scheidt" on Friday, September 12, at 7:00 p.m.

The new school year is beginning at the Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music at the University of Memphis. Darel Snodgrass spoke with two new voice professors, Joseph Contreras and Megan Esther Grey, about the year ahead.

Memphis Symphony Orchestra's Paul and Linnea Bert Classic Accents series returns Sunday, May 4, at 2:30 p.m. at The University of Memphis' (UofM) Scheidt Family Performing Arts Center with Christopher Tin's "The Drop That Contained the Sea."

Concerts International continues its chamber music season with the Isidore Quartet on Tuesday, March 25. Additionally, they have added a new concert by the Frautschi, Nakamatsu, & Manasse Trio on Wednesday, April 30.
