Iris Collective Orchestra

Iris Collective is excited to welcome back world-renowned violinist Elena Urioste to the Crosstown Theater on Saturday, March 8.

The Iris Collective season continues with a performance by the Overlook String Quartet on Thursday, January 16, at 7:30 p.m. in the Green Room at Crosstown Concourse.

Conductor Michael Stern returns to conduct Iris Collective musicians in the concert "Transformations" on Saturday, November 2, at 7:30 p.m. at Germantown Performing Arts Center.

Opera Memphis' "Variations on a Theme" concert series continues Saturday, October 26, at 7:30 pm and Sunday, October 27, at 3:00 pm with "The Tell-Tale Heart & Other Terrifying Tunes" in collaboration with Iris Collective at Opera Memphis' Midtown headquarters at 216 S. Cooper St.

The third season of IRIS Collective is already underway, with upcoming concerts on Saturday, October 26, and Sunday, October 27, with Opera Memphis. Memphis native and renowned violinist Randall Goosby will make a special appearance. On Saturday, November 2, conductor Michael Stern will return to Germantown Performing Arts Center for a concert featuring the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto.

The IRIS Collective season continues on March 2nd and 3rd with pianist Awadagin Pratt joining the IRIS Orchestra on Saturday night at GPAC for a program featuring Montgomery, Bach and Schubert, and a screening of the film Awadagin Pratt: Black in American as well as a performance on Sunday afternoon in Harris Hall at the University of Memphis.

IRIS Collective has 2 events coming up on Friday, February 9th. The first is the regularly-scheduled Lunchbreak Concert at Germantown Community Theatre Love Songs Through the Ages, followed that evening at 7:00 p.m. by the rescheduled Small Business Series concert at Music Box Music School in Germantown, postponed by the winter storm.
